Baba Yaga is a witchlike character in Slavic folklore. She is also a symbol of Świętokrzyskie Mountains, where I come from. Our Baba Yaga wears black and red striped folk cloth (so called 'zapaska świętokrzyska') and flies on a magic broom. According to legends every year witches celebrated Sabbath on the top of Bald Mountain (Łysa Góra), where was a temple of an old pagan cult.
